Memory Verses

The people of Larkin Avenue Baptist Church are being encouraged to memorize various Bible verses. These verses, which are based on the Holman Christian Study Bible translation, are listed below, along with the date of congregational recitation.
 
Luke 9:23
“Then He said to them all, ‘If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.’” (January 1, 2012)
 
John 15:5
